The story of one man's determination to bring together warring tribes/ factions of the Mongol community. His love for his chosen one and his dedication and service to her and her children. Lots of blood, but in context. The film contained humour, sorrow, heroism and spectacular scenery.

I was an attendee to a recent preview of this new Morgan Spurlock film. I enjoyed the film from the aspect that it wasn't afraid to mock USA, and it's past foreign policy! The film did also show interviews with actual people, from many countries, rather than their goverment officials. The film is repetitive and it takes a long time to set off. The story is more important than the way it is told hence the camerawork is very simple and blunt, although there are some good choices at times once the story begins to develope a sense of history. I think is opera prima.

Did anyone watch the Channel 4 programme last night on the Sex and the City premiere? OMG plot spoilers!! Carrie does get engaged to Mr Big (John!) and they look at buying a flat, but it seems like things go wrong, and Steve cheats on Miranda, just once, and Charlotte gets pregnant and Samantha has a sushi sex scene. Had to share, so so excited to see it!!!

Caramel is really enjoyable film. The characterisation is credible and whole. There are moments of humour, sadness, anticipation, disappointment: you are given a sense of feeling the characters’ situations.
